Arrests in Rash of Vehicle Burglaries

Four arrests have been made in connection with a rash of vehicle burglaries targeting residents living in the northern part of Livingston Parish between January 8, 2016 and January 13, 2016.

Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘Through this investigation, detectives with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office Property Crimes Division were able to clear 17 vehicle burglaries and recover more than $8,000 worth of stolen property. That property was returned to the rightful owners.' Sheriff also warns, ‘these suspects admitted to ‘only' targeting vehicles left unlocked.' He urges residents to take valuables inside for safekeeping and to make a habit of locking doors.

The following were apprehended and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center:

>Dylan Bryan of 36145 LA Hwy.16 in Denham Springs

>Austin Bercegeay of 36145 LA Hwy.16 Denham Springs

>Charles Hebert 36145 LA Hwy. 16 Denham Springs
