Two arrests have been made in the January 5, 2015 armed robbery of a Watson-area pharmacy. Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘A tip received by detectives helped crack this case.'
32-year old Preston H. Davis of 35857 Gene Ballard Rd in Denham Springs was arrested following a traffic stop on January 9, 2015. Upon Davis' arrest, LPSO Detectives obtained permission to search his vehicle and his residence. Detectives recovered clothing worn during the armed robbery, the firearm used during the armed robbery and a large quantity of prescription medications taken during the armed robbery. Detectives were also able to locate the white vehicle used as a get-away vehicle.
Davis is charged as follows:
>Armed robbery with a firearm
>Felon in possession of a firearm
*He is currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center. Bond is set at $150,000.
Through the investigation, Davis' girlfriend was also arrested. 28-year old Amber Frith of 15357 Lakeview Drive in Denham Springs was charged with helping Davis flee the scene of the crime.
Frith is charged as follows:
>Principal to armed robbery with a firearm
*She is currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center. Bond is set at $100,000.
‘I've always said it takes the community and law enforcement working together to solve crimes and to keep Livingston Parish safe. That's exactly what happened in this case', Sheriff Ard says.

LPSO Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect
Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard advises that his deputies are currently searching for an armed robbery suspect in the Watson area.
At approximately 4:30p on January 5, 2015, an unidentified suspect entered a pharmacy located on LA Highway 16 in the Watson area. The suspect was armed with a handgun.
Deputies have learned through an investigation that the suspect took a quantity of Schedule II CDS.
The suspect is described as a male of medium build. His race is unknown. The suspect was wearing a camouflage mask and jacket, sunglasses, gloves, blue jeans and black boots.
The suspect left the pharmacy on foot. He fled to the south.
