Detectives with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office are investigating a crime they believe took place during the overnight hours of April 24, 2015 into the early morning hours of April 25, 2015 at the Baton
Rouge KOA located on Vincent Road in Denham Springs.
During that time span – while the victims were sleeping – a still unidentified suspect entered four campers. While inside, the suspect took purses, wallets, computers and television sets.
Through a joint investigation with members of the Slidell Police Department, we have learned that one of the stolen credit cards was used at a retailer in Slidell. The suspect – from images captured on surveillance video – is a white male with a mustache and goatee. He is seen driving a white Chevrolet truck. See attached images.
Detectives have also learned this same suspect used the stolen credit cards at other locations in Slidell as well as in Hammond.
