Detectives with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were called in to investigate the burglary of two occupied campers at a RV Park located south of the Town of Livingston.
The burglaries happened during the overnight hours of April 12, 2015 and the early morning hours of April 13, 2015. The unidentified suspect entered the campers while the victims were sleeping. The suspect took items like cash, a wallet, a purse and credit cards.
Detectives learned the stolen credit cards were used at businesses in the Walker area. Video from surveillance footage captured at a convenience store in Walker shows a white male wearing a hooded sweatshirt. The suspect was also seen in a light-colored extended cab Chevrolet pick-up truck.
At this point in the investigation, it is unclear if this case is tied to information Sheriff Ard released this week in reference to items taken from victims visiting the Baton Rouge KOA located on Vincent Road in Denham Springs.
Anyone who can help identify this suspect or anyone with any information on this case is asked to call the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 686-2241 extension 349 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-STOP (7867).
