On September 22, 2015, members of the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division & members of the LPSO Special Response Team executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 12229 Brandon Avenue in Denham Springs.
During the course of a residence search, our LPSO teams located 3 individuals inside - Joseph Blaine Coon, Lacie Foley and Lorene Foley.
Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘During the search, our LPSO teams seized approximately 43grams of methamphetamine, 19 tablets of Alprazolam, 17 tablets of Codeine, a small quantity of Marijuana, Counterfeit money and a sawed-off shotgun (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO). The prescription pills and the methamphetamine were packaged to sell in individual baggies. The shotgun was illegal due to the length it was cut down to, not being registered and due to the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.’
During the course of this case, detectives also learned Joseph Blaine Coon is a convicted felon. This prohibits him from possessing a firearm.
The estimated street value of the seized narcotics: $5,700.00.
All subjects were arrested and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
