  1. It is to your advantage to be familiar with any and all properties on which you bid. If you bid on a property and it is later learned that it is the wrong property in which you intended to bid, you cannot withdraw your bid. All sales are legal, binding, and final sales.
  2. All sales are oral bidding against the mortgage companies here at the Livingston Parish Court House at 10 a.m. on designated Wednesdays.
  3. The terms of sale are cash to the last and highest bidder. You must come to the sale prepared to pay your bid price in full.
  4. The successful bidder will need to have the following items immediately after the sale.

-letter from your financial institution stating you have funds.

-personal check, which will be returned to you upon receipt of the cashier’s check.

-cashier’s check in the full amount of the bid will be needed no later than 2 p.m. the day of the sale.
