REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Emergency Services Internet Protocol Network (ESInet), Next Generation Core Services (NGCS), and Call Handling System (CHS) Requirements
The following District(s) (Customer) is requesting proposals pursuant to Title 38. Chapter 10, Part II B LSA-R.S. 38:2234, et seq. from qualified Offerors to furnish and install equipment, accessories, hardware, software, labor, training, and materials for a turnkey Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) system including an Emergency Services IP Network (ESInet), Next Generation Core Services (NGCS) and Call Handling Solution (CHS).

Proposals shall be submitted to the attention of Jack Varnado, Captain, no later than 4PM CST, on September 30, 2021. Proposals may be submitted by mail or in person to 20300 Government Blvd, Livingston, LA 70754. All questions regarding this RFP shall be directed in writing to Capt. Jack Varnado at Jvarnado@LPSO.org. No questions will be accepted by phone or other media. Proposals shall be date/time stamped upon receipt. Late submissions will not be considered for award.
The proposal will be reviewed to determine which proposal is most advantageous considering the capability of the proposal to provide the service and function required, and quality of product and service. The Customer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received and to waive any formalities as may be permitted by law.
The Customer recognizes that price is of considerable importance to stakeholders. However, delivering and maintaining a highly reliable, technically advanced NG91-1 solution is equally important. Thus, the Customer will be evaluating for the “best value” solution. There shall be no protests of this RFP after award.
